And the Answer is G..for GIRL

So on a cold February morning, the 4th, to be exact Devon and I trampled down to the Medplex for our first real ultrasound. That morning I had a stern talking to with Baby Ellis. I asked him/her to cooperate with the test. We were hoping to discover if we were having a boy or girl, look at the baby's heart and body.

I asked Devon that morning what he thought we were having. He said a girl because she is very protective of her personal space.

It was fascinating to watch our baby move in the 3-D images. It is truly a humbling experience to see something so tiny yet so perfect. What seemed like an eternity later we were finally given the news. We were having a girl!

Emily looked very healthy. She weighed half a pound and was very squirming. Of course she didn't listen to me either, because she didn't cooperate very well with the tech performing the ultrasound. We have another one next month too.

We are so excited with the news!
